The rythm of rains...

There’s is a story, between two person, during their childhood started to paint a hundred of beautiful moments, they met in the river..
The girl was lost and the boy always went to the river to see the fireflies in night… It was a best medicine for him whenever he had a problem.. So, as usual, he went to the river and as he arrived there , he saw the girl..
To him, she was the most beautiful girl he’d ever seen. She just like a little angel.
She was a lost girl and people were searching for her. He knew it because people were yelling and shouting, mentioned a name. However, he cannot heard it clearly.
Then, the villagers arrived at the river and saw the girl and automatically he hiding behind the big old tree. That time he wanted to talk with the beautiful girl.
It’s too late, as the villagers approached her and a lady started to hug her and crying, he made a decision to hide. And just saw him from a distance.
Well, at least the saw each other. He still remember her face. And he knew they will meet again, ONE DAY!! He want to see her again badly.
And… He also does not realize that his heart was belong to someone. No one can tell him that he was in love for a first sight.
EIGHT YEARS LATER..
He still can remember the moments clearly. Time cannot fade away it. He never forget it.
He was seventeen already, an age where teen start to find their identity. He would never escaped from it. Anyone want to be free and he was one of teenager who do not want a junk rules chained himself. He was a famous troublemaker in his school. To him, high school is the best place to show who’s the boss.
It was a first term and there were a transfer student and he always escaped from his class until he never knew there was a new student in his class.. He never knew that a thick bespectacled girl with a nerd looks was her crush-girl..
When they’re meet, a quarrel always happen. It started when the girl’s shoes glued on his boyish-handsome face for her first attempt to kick the ball. He supposed to be hate her for everything she had done. Tossing a milk on his head, punched him right in front his gang and etc..
He cannot hates her.. However, he ignored her and gave a disgusting looks at her. However, they kept seeing each other everyday. The girl started to realize the boy had a scar on his arm, just like the boy in her childhood memories..
She tried to approach the boy but they does not get along so well. One fine evening, the boy took a different path to his home. Who knew that they will seeing each other?
That is an unforgettable evening, her eyes met his gaze and she started questioning him and accidently she mentioned about a boy that she met in her childhood also has the same scar on his arm exactly just like he had.
He was in SHOCK and HAPPY at the same time.
Did not expected about, he just beamed ear to ear and without saying anything he rushed home.. Leaving the girl with 1001 questions in her head.
He was the BOY, for sure!
He cannot stopped to smile whenever he remembered her. Her eyes, her smiles and her gazes still playing in his head. And he started to dream to be on her side, SOMEDAY…~
It’s raining and the girl stared at the window and thought about the boy with the scar. It’s reminded her with the unforgettable memories. When she was still a little girl, she wlked alone to the forest and without she realized, there’s a wild dog watched her silently. She laughed joyfully playing with the water until the dog started to bar at her and watched directly to her with a piercing eyes.
Her face turned pale and she shivered as the dog approached her hesitately towards her. The jaws of dog really terrific, ready to bite her anytime. She could not shouting and her tears flown.
She just only can resigned.
When the dog ready to attack her, she shut her eyes.
But nothing happened..
So, when she opened her eyes and she saw a boy was struggling with the dog. The dog bitten his arm until bleeding. She could not say or do anything ..
“Hey!!! Runaway from here!!”
She ran as faster she can and never looked back… Only tears streaming on her cheeks..
That was the only things she can remember. She ran with tears flown.. She really felt guilty about it. How dare she was to leave him just like that. Six months later and she don’t know what happened to him..
Even she was in trauma, she tried to be brave..
It’s getting dark and she finally arrived at the river… And she saw him!!
It’s raining… Same just like on the day he saved her.. Only the scar made her sure it was him..
And she never forget it..
On the next morning, the boy made a decision to tell the girl that he falling over her heels.. With full of spirit and with a keychain in his hands, he walked with a huge smiles on his face. However, his smiles was faded as he saw the girl was walking with another guy.
HEARTBROKEN…He even can heard a cracking sound inside his heart.
Do not why, he was in terrible heartache and felt just like wanted to broke down . Fighting with tears, he walked away. He waiting too long for her and now??
Right after back from school, the girl walk to the nearer river to relax his mind. She does not have any idea why he tried to avoiding her all day long.. She only got smirks from him.
She grunted and the sky went grey.. It’s raining again.. However, she does not care about it. She got up when the it was raining cat and do. The wet soil made her shoes slippery and nearly lost a balance and a firm arms was holding her.. Those arm with a scar.
Their eyes were met. She tried to say thanks but he does not wanted to stare at her until he dropped something.
It was the keychain..
She picked it up and she exclaimed,
“This is my lose keychain!”
He looked back at her. Is that confirmed that she was the same girl that he saved?
“Is that yours? I found it and planning to return it back to the owner..”
She looked at him with a beautiful glimpses of her eyes besides her thick-spectacles and smiling.. She replied,
“Well, it’s mine..and I lose it on the day when my first love saved me..”
The boy stared in disbelief to her. He was flushed and glowing with happiness at the same time.. He has saved someone but he does not saw her face after all. So, when he saw the keychain and thought that the girl will come back. He waited there everyday for her and enjoyed the fireflies at the same time..
It was six months already and he never gave up waiting for her.. Until she finally came back and he saw her. And she just like have the same feeling. But wait for a second!! He gulped and thrown a question..
“But who’s the guy walked with you that morning?”
She laughed and can sensed a jealousy in his tone.
“Oh! That was your future-little-brother!!” She giggling.
Both of them were blushing.. The rhythm of the rains same as their heartbeat.
Loop doop! Loop doop! Loop doop!!
The rains finally stopped and the rainbow started to appears showing their beautifulness as their love and happiness glowing from inside their hearts,,~
